Community Care Alliance Data Breach Details
Community Care Alliance (“CCA”) detected unusual activity on its network and launched an investigation with the help of third-party cybersecurity specialists. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual may have accessed or acquired sensitive data between July 1, 2024, and July 5, 2024.
The cybercriminal group Rhysida is reportedly connected to the breach. However, the full scope of the leak remain unknown at this time. The breach was also also reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and is estimated to have affected 114,975 individuals.
Community Care Alliance is offering the identity protection package to affected individuals which includes:
- Credit and CyberScan monitoring to detect fraudulent activity.
- A $1,000,000 insurance reimbursement policy to cover identity theft-related losses.
- Fully managed identity theft recovery services to assist affected individuals in restoring their financial security.

The compromised data may include:
- Names
- Dates of birth
- Address
- Social Security numbers
- Financial Information
- Medications
- Patient ID number
- Health insurance information
- Provider name and treatment details
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Social Security number
- Diagnosis or medical condition
- Lab results
