Crossroads Trading Data Breach Details
On February 15, 2025, Crossroads discovered that an unauthorized third party gained access to its server and encrypted data stored on the company’s network. Upon detection of the breach, Crossroads’ IT team immediately responded to the incident, securing the network, restoring systems, and preventing further access by the third party.
The company retained a team of expert forensic investigators to conduct a comprehensive investigation. The investigation revealed that the unauthorized access was limited to a segment of their network. Crossroads’ investigation confirmed that the encrypted data contained personal information, including the names and other details of New Hampshire residents. However, the company has found no evidence to suggest that the personal information has been, or will be, published or otherwise misused.
Although the breach did not appear to involve widespread misuse of data, Crossroads has informed the 32 potentially impacted New Hampshire residents as a precautionary measure. Additionally, Crossroads is offering two years of complimentary identity protection services through Experian’s IdentityWorks product. This service includes identity restoration, fraud detection tools, and credit monitoring through Experian, at no cost to the affected individuals.
