The investigation revealed that between January 23 and January 24, 2025, certain files and folders were copied from the network without authorization. By January 29, Mid-State completed its review and determined that c compromised files contained sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, and financial account details.
In response to the breach, Mid-State took immediate steps to secure its systems and notified federal law enforcement. The company is also offering affected individuals 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft restoration services through TransUnion.
