The Good Life Medical Staff Data Breach Details
On October 15, 2024, TGL detected unusual activity involving an employee’s email account and immediately launched an investigation. A specialized third-party cybersecurity firm and IT vendor were engaged to secure the compromised account and assess the scope of the breach. The forensic investigation confirmed that an unauthorized actor had access to certain data within the email account.
TGL then undertook a detailed review of the affected files to determine the individuals impacted. The final list of those affected was completed on February 20, 2025, paving the way for official notifications.
To assist those impacted, TGL is offering free credit monitoring and identity protection services through TransUnion for 12 months. These services include:
- Single Bureau Credit Monitoring
- Access to a Single Bureau Credit Report and Credit Score
- Immediate alerts for any changes to an individual’s credit file
What Information Was Compromised?
The data breach exposed confidential information, including which exposed individuals’ names, Social Security Numbers, driver’s license or state identification numbers, and health insurance information.
