The Longleaf Network Data Breach Details
Longleaf recently disclosed a data breach after detecting suspicious activity on its network on May 29, 2024. An internal investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had accessed the company’s systems between May 19 and May 29 2024 potentially exposing sensitive consumer information.
Following the breach, Longleaf conducted a thorough review to determine what data was compromised and identify those affected. While there is no evidence that the exposed information has been misused, the company has begun notifying impacted individuals out of an abundance of caution. On March 3, 2025, Longleaf sent data breach letters detailing the incident and outlining what personal information may have been accessed.
In response to the breach, the company is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian to help protect those affected. Impacted individuals are encouraged to enroll in these services and monitor their financial accounts for any unusual activity.
