Unity National Bank of Houston Data Breach Details
On July 2, 2024, UNBH identified suspicious activity within an employee’s email account. The bank immediately initiated an investigation with the help of third-party forensic experts. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor accessed the email accounts of several employees between July 2 and July 3, 2024. UNBH thoroughly examined the affected email accounts to determine the information that was exposed and who was impacted. On March 10, 2025, the review was completed, confirming that customer-related data was affected.
Additionally, UNBH is mailing notification letters to impacted individuals starting on April 8, 2025. If you believe you were affected but have not received a letter, please contact us using the phone number provided below.
