VeriSource Services Data Breach

On February 27, 2024, VeriSource Services, Inc. (VSI) reported a data breach affecting its consumers. Although the notification did not specify the exact number of people impacted or the specific types of data exposed, VSI promptly took action after detecting unusual activity on February 28, 2024, which disrupted access to some of its systems. As soon as this was discovered, VSI secured its network and engaged a top independent digital forensics firm to investigate the incident and determine if any sensitive data had been compromised.

The investigation revealed that certain personal information had been accessed without authorization by an unknown actor on or around February 27, 2024. VSI conducted a detailed review of the potentially affected data to identify the individuals and information involved, completing this process on October 31, 2024.

The potentially impacted data may include sensitive personal information such as your name and Social Security number. Although there is currently no indication of misuse, it’s essential to remain vigilant for any unusual activity.
