Data Breach Summary
On June 14, 2024, Young Life, a nonprofit organization, detected suspicious activity on its computer network, which was later confirmed to be a malware attack. The breach, identified as an external system hacking incident, potentially exposed sensitive personal information belonging to 51,226 individuals, including 34 residents of Maine. The incident occurred between June 13 and June 14, 2024, and was discovered on November 18, 2024.
