The lawsuit claimed that LCPtracker failed to implement adequate cybersecurity measures, resulting in a breach between August 14 and August 20, 2024. Sensitive information potentially compromised included names and Social Security numbers.

Settlement class members may file claims to receive:

  1. Up to $2,500 for documented losses incurred between August 14, 2024, and August 9, 2026, for expenses such as identity theft mitigation, credit reports, credit monitoring, replacement IDs, and related costs. Proof of losses (receipts, correspondence) is required.
  2. Approximately $50 cash payment, no proof required. Amounts may vary depending on total claims filed.
  3. Two years of one-bureau credit monitoring and identity theft insurance through an enrollment code.
