Soliant Health LLC and Soliant Physician Staffing LLC have agreed to a class action settlement valued between $496,550 and $737,000 to resolve allegations that they omitted mandatory salary ranges, wage scales, and benefit descriptions from Washington job postings between January 1, 2023, and May 26, 2026.
Job seekers who applied for Washington-based positions with Soliant Health LLC or Soliant Physician Staffing LLC between January 1, 2023, and May 26, 2026, may be eligible to claim cash payments estimated between $652 and $5,000 following a $737,000 class action settlement. The court-approved deal resolves allegations that the healthcare staffing companies violated state pay transparency laws by omitting required salary ranges and benefit descriptions from public job advertisements.
The class action lawsuit, Jamie Anderson v. Soliant Health LLC, et al. (Case No. 25-2-19643-7 KNT), filed in the Superior Court of the State of Washington for King County, alleges that Soliant Health LLC and Soliant Physician Staffing LLC failed to comply with state pay transparency requirements when advertising open positions.
According to court records, the plaintiff alleged that the healthcare staffing agencies published job listings for positions based in Washington without disclosing the mandatory wage scale, salary range, or a general description of benefits and other compensation. The complaint asserts that applicants were forced to navigate the job application process without essential information regarding potential earnings.
Soliant Health and Soliant Physician Staffing deny all allegations of wrongdoing and maintain that their hiring practices complied with relevant regulations. The court has not ruled on whether Soliant violated the law. Instead, both sides agreed to enter into a class action settlement agreement to resolve the dispute, avoid prolonged legal battles, and provide financial compensation to affected job applicants.
Washington state passed significant updates to its Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (RCW 49.58.110) to promote wage fairness and eliminate pay secrecy during the hiring process. Under the statute, employers with 15 or more employees must disclose the wage scale or salary range, as well as a general description of all benefits and other compensation, in every job posting for open positions based in Washington.
The law applies to electronic job boards, company career portals, third-party recruiting websites, and traditional printed job advertisements. By requiring employers to provide clear financial details upfront, the legislature aimed to protect job seekers from spending time and effort applying for roles that do not meet their income needs or expectations.
When corporate employers fail to include required compensation details in job postings, applicants are deprived of the transparency guaranteed under state law. Class action litigation provides a mechanism for job seekers to enforce statutory rights, ensure fair marketplace standards, and seek monetary compensation when corporate hiring practices fall short of legal requirements.
Under the proposed court settlement, Soliant Health has agreed to establish a settlement fund structured between a minimum guarantee of $496,550 and a maximum cap of $737,000. The final payout amount awarded to each participating class member depends on the total number of valid claim forms submitted prior to the court deadline.
Every eligible class member who files a timely and valid claim form will receive an equal pro-rata share of the net settlement fund after administrative costs, attorneys’ fees, and court-approved service awards are deducted.
| Settlement Parameter | Financial Details and Estimates |
| Maximum Settlement Fund | $737,000 total cash fund |
| Minimum Settlement Fund | $496,550 guaranteed cash fund |
| Estimated Minimum Payout | $652.51 per valid claimant |
| Estimated Maximum Payout | Up to $5,000 per valid claimant |
| Tax Classification | Non-wage damages (Reported on IRS Form 1099) |
If 368 or fewer class members submit valid claims, the settlement administrator will distribute the minimum fund of $496,550 equally among all claimants. For every additional participating class member above 368, Soliant will increase the total settlement fund by $652.51, up to the maximum capped amount of $737,000. Settlement payments will be issued as non-wage damages via mailed check and must be cashed within 120 days of issuance.
