Some customers allege that Nintendo increased prices on certain products during 2025 as a result of import tariffs that the Supreme Court later ruled unlawful. When purchasing directly from Nintendo’s website (nintendo.com or My Nintendo Store) or at Nintendo retail locations, some customers claim they paid prices that included the cost of these illegal tariffs. The claims allege that Nintendo failed to disclose the unlawful nature of these price increases and that this was misleading and deceptive under consumer protection laws.
