Shipt

If you worked as a Shipt driver or shopper in the last two years and believe you were misclassified as an independent contractor, you may be eligible to take legal action.
What happened?

Some Shipt drivers claim they have been misclassified as independent contractors instead of employees, and allegedly denied critical labor and employment protections such as overtime pay, health benefits, and expense reimbursement.

How We May Help

Class Action U is here to help you understand your rights and get you in touch with a skilled attorney who can guide you through the legal process.

What You Can Do

If you worked for Shipt as a driver or shopper and believe you were misclassified as an independent contractor, take action now by filling out the form below to see if you may qualify for compensation for your expenses, lost wages, and benefits.

Shipt is accused of misclassifying workers as independent contractors. Shipt drivers claim the company failed to reimburse expenses, and did not provide benefits or protections afforded to employees. Workers claim they incurred expenses such as fuel, insurance, and vehicle maintenance, without being reimbursed, and were allegedly not compensated for overtime or provided worker’s compensation.

If you meet the following criteria, you may be eligible to pursue a legal claim for unpaid wages, benefits, and damages:

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You used the Shipt Shopper and Driver App in the last two years
  • You completed at least one shopping or delivery trip assigned through the app
  • You incurred work-related expenses (such as fuel, insurance, vehicle maintenance) without reimbursement
  • You have records or proof of your Shipt account and activities

If you believe you have been impacted, here’s what you can do:

  • Submit Documentation: Provide proof of your Shipt account and completed activities, including pay records and emails from Shipt
  • Complete the Form: Fill out the form to see if you may qualify
